A Bit Of Tail

He was the most elusive figure of the Mobsters that sprung up during Prohibition. No matter how hard they tried, the Feds could never find Larry ‘Guppy’ Iannotti. He ran all his orders through his Broad, Tina Adler, but no matter how long they tailed her, they never worked out how they kept in touch. Every dead drop she used seemed to never be checked, and every letter and telegram she was sent yielded no info, no codes or secret messages. Nothing.

The idea that Tina had knocked off Guppy and was running everything never occurred to them, of course.
