I lived by those words as I walked
through life without companionship. I was not lonely, I was alone, and that was
fine. I didn’t need anyone, Me, Myself and I were all the company I needed.
And then everything changed as the
whirlwind in female form that was Her entered my life. She came in, opened my eyes
to the joys and wonders of being with someone, then as quickly as she arrived
she left, leaving me lonely, for the first time ever.
