As soon as I found reference to the Power in a very rare and
barely readable text, I assumed that it had to be a lie, it couldn’t be real.
If it was, why the hell wouldn’t it be used throughout history?
So I put it out of my mind, until I found another reference
to it, and then another, across thousands of years, one small reference here,
one there. Maybe there was something to it.
So I studied. I researched. And finally, I found it, and
took it.
And understood the lack of its use as it consumed me…
