The Village Bicycle

My Italian was pretty bad, which possibly explained how I ended up stranded in this village somewhere in the northern mountains of Italy.

I asked a couple of shop owners about how to get to transport, and they pointed to a house down the far end of the village, saying something that I translated out as ‘the village bicycle’.

Blushing somewhat, I approached the house, and knocked on the door.

The woman who answered looked exactly how you’d expect an Italian goddess to look.

I thus expected her to have a bike.

Instead she owned a car, but expected ‘payment’…
