Hanging By A Hair

He ran a hand through his hair, roughly untangling a few strands, and pulling out a few others.

This was the moment he had wanted. The chance to prove himself, just step through the door, give it his all, and achieve his dreams. Or learn that he didn’t have it.

Better to fail then never try, right? Better to lose than just sit in the stands.

Maybe not knowing would be easier…

A woman with a headset stuck her head out of the door.

“You’re up… Nice hair.”

That was irrelevant, but any push for a shove.

He walked through.
