I’m the first to admit that I had to pursuit a relationship
with her quite hard, but in my defence she never shut me down, she was just
guarded.
But as she began to slowly accept me into her life, and our
relationship grew, I was expecting some sort of reveal, some clue as to why she
was so reluctant to let me in.
When I did find out it was that she was stupidly rich with
all the trust funds, I tried to not take it personally, the notion that I was
just after her money.
I almost succeeded.
