Handshake

I once knew a man who took great pride in his ability to judge someone by their handshake. He was sure that by the way they gripped his hand, where they put their eyes, the stance, all these little indicators, he swore they told him all that he needed to know.

And although he admitted that he wasn’t always 100% right (he had a real issue with people who spent their childhood in more than three cultures, he claimed), I was sure he’d not work me out, since my hand is prosthetic.

He just made some lucky guesses, that’s all.
