Why No Reply



The first few moments, that was obvious, he had his hands full.

The couple hours after that, that was understandable, other tasks awaited him.

The night after that, that was rude, but he needed to sleep, he was tired.

The day after that, that was deliberate, he realised it was too late for an ‘immediate’ reply.

The week after that, that was forgetfulness, he simply forgot about it.

The week after that, that was fear, he really didn’t want to have to deal with the angry reply.

Around that point he went to see her, or rather, her empty apartment.
